This new year marks the start of an exciting new adventure. In 2023, we took a huge risk and stepped out of our roles at The Square Church to pioneer Faith Formation Project. This last year has been a journey marked by renewed passion, dedication, and our best attempts to be faithful to the ways of Jesus.
Over the past year, we've been a part of some truly amazing things. We finalized our discipleship journal FORMED, created an online curriculum, and collaborated with three churches to integrate it into their communities. We led our School of Spiritual Formation. Mitch lectured to hundreds of YWAM missionaries and started the creation of a multimedia resource for Fostering Resilient Faith in our Cultural Moment.
Most importantly, we created a framework and model for cultivating an intentional community seeking to pursue Jesus, know him, and live out his ways. We began meeting weekly with a group of 12 in our home. In this last year of life together, we developed our unique culture and made space to discern God's missional vision for us and our city.
With a deep sense of confidence, we believe the Lord has called us to plant this community as a new church in Marietta, GA. In January, we will begin meeting weekly on Wednesdays. Our vision is to be a community marked by the presence of God, holistic spiritual formation, and active mission, with an official launch of Local Church on Easter Sunday, 2024!

Our mission is to be a church faithful to Jesus, for the people, for the city, and for the renewal of all things. Our vision is to be a community that encounters the Lord, fosters intentional discipleship that leads to individual and communal transformation, and equips followers of Jesus to bring the light and beauty of Jesus wherever they go.

To pursue this mission wholeheartedly, we need your support. We are raising funds for 2024. These funds will serve to cover living expenses as a family of three, hosting a weekly gathering in our home, and devoting our full attention to building Local Church.
